'A broken bladder, doesn't mean your story ends.'
What is a Broken Bladder
A 'broken bladder' is any bladder that doesn't work the way it should - whether it leaks, won't empty, spasms, causes pain or needs a catheter. At The Broken Bladder Society, we support anyone living with bladder dysfunction.
Overactive Bladder
A condition where the bladder sends urgency signals too often or too strongly, causing frequent trips to the bathroom, sudden urges, and sometimes leakage.
Interstitial Cystitis
A chronic bladder condition that causes pelvic pain, pressure, and a persistent urge to urinate even when the bladder isn’t full. Symptoms can flare unpredictably and deeply affect daily life.
Urinary Tract Infections (UTI)
A common infection that can cause burning when you pee, urgency, pelvic discomfort, and cloudy or strong-smelling urine. UTIs can come on quickly but usually improve with the right treatment.
Our Story
The Broken Bladder Society began as a simple idea: no one should feel alone or ashamed because of a bladder condition. After experiencing the challenges of catheter use and bladder dysfunction first hand, we created a space where people can connect and find support. Today, we're building a community that breaks stigma and empowers bladder warriors everywhere!
